WORK DESCRIPTION
- Supervise a single discipline or work front (e.g. civil, structural, mechanical, or piping) on a
day-to-day basis - Direct assigned labor crews, verifying work is carried out per drawings, specifications, and work
method statements - Conduct pre-task safety briefings and enforce PPE and permit-to-work compliance at the work front
- Track daily manpower attendance, equipment usage, and material consumption for the assigned
crew - Report daily progress, issues, and near-misses to the Construction Superintendent
- Inspect completed work for basic quality conformance before handover to QC for formal inspection
- Liaise with warehouse and logistics to ensure materials and tools are available at the work front
- Maintain daily site records, including work logs, timesheets, and incident reports
REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Construction Supervisor or Foreman, with prior exposure to
mining or heavy industrial projects - Hands-on field experience directly supervising labor crews and subcontractor personnel
- Basic understanding of construction drawings, work method statements, and quality checkpoints
- Working knowledge of HSE standards and permit-to-work systems in remote mine-site
environments - Willing to be placed at a remote mine site and follow a roster-based work schedule
- Practical, hands-on leadership with strong attention to daily site discipline
