Sales Operations Manager – General Trade
Location: Bandung
Our client is skincare product located at Bandung, and they are currently hiring Sales Operations Manager – General Trade.
Role Summary
The Sales Operations Manager – General Trade will be responsible for driving the company’s sales performance across the General Trade channel. The incumbent will develop sales strategies, manage distributor performance, optimize market coverage, and ensure the achievement of sales objectives. This role will also play a key role in expanding new territories and, in the future, establishing and leading the company’s own direct sales organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop sales strategies, annual sales plans, and periodic rolling forecasts in collaboration with the management team.
- Manage and strengthen relationships with nationwide distributors, ensuring sales objectives, business strategies, and forecasts are effectively communicated and executed.
- Develop distribution expansion plans, including sales coverage and resource allocation together with distributor management.
- Monitor and evaluate distributor performance, including sales achievement, product availability, inventory levels, and operational effectiveness.
- Identify opportunities to improve sales productivity, market penetration, and distribution efficiency.
- Drive the development of new sales territories and, in the future, build and lead the company’s internal sales and distribution team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5–7 years of sales experience, with at least 2–3 years in a sales management role (e.g., Area Sales Manager, Regional Sales Manager, Key Account Manager, or equivalent).
- Mandatory: Proven experience in the beauty care, skincare, personal care, cosmetics, or healthcare industry.
- Mandatory: Strong experience managing General Trade (GT) distributors and distributor networks.
- Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth through distributor management.
- Strong leadership, analytical, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively as required.
- Experienced in managing distributor-driven sales organizations while capable of building an in-house sales structure as the business expands.
