Operational Readiness Superintendent – Leading Mining Company

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead operational readiness activities from FEED through commissioning and start-up.
  • Coordinate readiness planning, procedures, systems, training, and workforce preparation.
  • Support commissioning, handover, ramp-up, and operational integration activities.
  • Manage operational risks, compliance requirements, and readiness KPIs.
  • Coordinate closely with project, operations, maintenance, and contractor teams.

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering (Metallurgy, Chemical, Mechanical, or related).
  • 10–12 years’ experience in mineral processing or gold operations.
  • 4–6 years in Operational Readiness, Commissioning, or Plant Operations.
  • Experience in plant start-up, ramp-up, and brownfield expansion projects.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
