People Search International is looking for an Accounting Intern to support our finance and accounting activities. This is a remote-working internship specifically for candidates currently based in Central Java.

We are particularly interested in final-semester Accounting students who want to gain practical experience in a professional business environment. Strong-performing interns may have the opportunity to continue their career with us as a Permanent Accountant after graduation.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
  • Support preparation and recording of financial transactions.
  • Assist with account reconciliation and financial documentation.
  • Support invoice, payment, and expense administration.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports and supporting schedules.
  • Maintain accurate and well-organized accounting records.
  • Support tax-related administration when required.
  • Coordinate remotely with the management and accounting team.
  • Perform other finance and accounting assignments as required.

Must Have

  • Currently in the final semester of a Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Accounting.
  • Based in Central Java.
  • Good written and spoken English.
  • Good understanding of basic accounting principles.
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote-working environment.
  • Detail-oriented, responsible, organized, and willing to learn.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheet applications.

Preferred Qualifications

We will give additional consideration to candidates who:

  • Have completed or are currently taking Brevet A/B Tax Certification.
  • Have experience as a Teaching Assistant / Asisten Dosen, particularly for Accounting, Finance, or Tax subjects.
  • Have been actively involved in student organizations, committees, extracurricular activities, or leadership roles.
  • Have previous internship, accounting, finance, or tax-related experience.
