Project Engineering Manager – Mining (Sulawesi)

Work Description:

  • Lead and manage multi-discipline engineering teams (Process, Mechanical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls) for a mining expansion project.
  • Own and deliver the Front End Engineering Design (FEED) package on schedule and within budget.
  • Manage external engineering consultants and contractors; ensure performance standards are met.
  • Ensure effective engineering interfaces between existing operating plant and new expansion facilities.
  • Drive Value Engineering and technical optimization initiatives throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Maintain the Engineering Risk Register and ensure timely risk mitigation.
  • Champion safety in design and ensure full compliance with Indonesian regulatory requirements (AMDAL, ESDM, SNI standards).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Metallurgical, or related discipline).
  • Minimum 12–15 years of experience in mineral processing or mining projects.
  • At least 5–7 years in a senior Engineering Manager or Lead Engineer role on the Owner’s side for brownfield expansion projects.
  • Proven experience delivering FEED packages for processing plant expansions.
  • Strong knowledge of Indonesian mining regulations and permitting processes.
  • Experience with gold processing plants (CIL/CIP circuits) is an advantage.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
