Our client, a leading national company in the marine and offshore contractor and supplier services industry, is seeking a qualified QHSSE Coordinator to join their Operations team. This role is responsible for developing and overseeing the implementation of quality, health, safety, security, and environmental policies across all marine and offshore operational activities.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Develop and implement QHSSE strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with marine and offshore industry standards (IMO, OSHA, ISM Code).
- Ensure full compliance with local, national, and international regulations, as well as client-specific safety rules (CLSR/PIP).
- Plan, conduct, and monitor QHSSE audits and management walkthroughs according to schedule; ensure zero audit findings.
- Oversee safety performance across offshore projects, diving operations, ROV, NDT, and construction activities.
- Develop and manage HSSE plans, Emergency Response Procedures (ERP), and risk assessments (L2RA/JSA) for all project sites.
- Lead incident reporting, investigation, and corrective/preventive action processes in line with regulatory and company requirements.
- Design and deliver QHSSE training programs, safety inductions, toolbox talks, and safety awareness campaigns for crew and contractors.
- Maintain and update all QHSSE documentation including ISO compliance records (ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001), audit docs, and CSMS requirements.
- Produce periodic QHSSE performance reports to management and regulatory bodies; analyse incident trends and recommend strategic improvements.
- Manage and coordinate HSSE Permit to Work (PTW), equipment inspection schedules, and personnel safety observation systems (STOPCard/Observation Card).
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Marine Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of QHSSE experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership position within the marine or offshore industry.
- MUST HAVE: Proven experience in ISO implementation and evaluation (ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001, ISO 14001).
- MUST HAVE: Solid HSE working experience.
- Holds a valid K3 Migas or K3 Umum certification.
- Strong knowledge of risk assessment, HAZOP studies, incident investigation, and regulatory compliance (IMO, OSHA, SMK3).
- Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and leadership skills with a proven track record in building safety culture.
