Skill and Experiences:
- 4+ years of advertising/marketing sales experience (digital and audio advertising and/or marketing agency background a plus)
- 2+ years experience managing an international sales team Demonstrated management skills with a track record of leading teams to achieve and exceed revenue goals.
- Mastered the fundamentals of sales management including pipeline forecasting, client research, pitch and presentations skills, and meeting reports.
- Strong interest and ability to work with analytics and data to both drive performance management and inform client sales strategy and rationale.
- Great communication, consultative selling, problem solving, and negotiation skills.
- Experience with Outreach, Salesforce (or other CRM) and Gsuite (Gsheets, Gslides).| Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Advertising, Marketing, or Business desirable Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
- Act like New Business Sales Manager for Sales Reps, focusing team on acquiring and onboarding advertisers onto Spotify.
- Acts as main point of contact between Vendor and Spotify SMB Vendor Sales Manager, quickly resolving escalations and providing insight and performance details.
- Supports AEs in client-facing situations to pitch Spotify value when needed.
- Oversees day-to-day team activities, sales pitching, operations, and performance improvement through support, coaching, and mentoring.
- Monitors daily sales behavior of their team and enforces sales process.
- Uses data to effectively manage sales funnels and translate quantitative insights into actionable steps for their team to take.
- Prepares performance and forecast reporting, including closed/won and revenue, based on team performance to set individual team member quota/targets.
