Position Overview

The Supply Chain Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective flow of goods and services throughout the F&B retail operations in Jakarta. This position will be responsible for overseeing the entire supply chain process, from procurement to distribution, with the goal of maximizing profitability and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Procurement:
    • Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to secure high-quality ingredients, materials, and equipment at competitive prices.
    • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
    • Manage supplier relationships and performance.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Implement inventory management systems to optimize stock levels and minimize waste.
    • Develop forecasting models to accurately predict demand for products.
    • Monitor inventory turnover rates and adjust purchasing accordingly.
  • Logistics:
    • Oversee the transportation and distribution of products to retail outlets.
    • Coordinate with logistics providers to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
    • Manage transportation costs and optimize routes.
  • Supply Chain Planning:
    • Develop and execute supply chain plans that align with business objectives.
    • Identify and address potential supply chain disruptions.
    • Continuously improve supply chain processes to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Quality Control:
    • Establish quality control standards and procedures to ensure that products meet regulatory requirements and customer expectations.
    • Monitor product quality throughout the supply chain.
    • Implement corrective actions to address quality issues.
  • Risk Management:
    • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, such as supplier failures, natural disasters, and economic fluctuations.
    • Develop contingency plans to address potential disruptions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in the F&B industry.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in using supply chain management software and tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Experience managing teams and projects.
