General Manager – Food Retail Business
Our client is a growing food retail business based in Makassar, South Sulawesi. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee the entire business strategy, operations, and profitability. This role is pivotal in driving growth, optimizing operational performance, and managing the company’s P&L.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve the company’s growth and profitability goals.
- Oversee all aspects of the company’s operations, including sales, marketing, supply chain, and finance.
- Ensure the efficient operation of retail outlets, maintaining high standards of quality, customer service, and compliance.
- Manage the company’s P&L, making informed decisions to maximize profitability and control costs.
- Lead cross-functional teams, providing mentorship and driving a performance-focused culture.
- Analyze market trends and adjust strategies to maintain competitiveness in the food retail sector.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop new product offerings and enhance business operations.
- Monitor and manage key operational metrics to ensure the business is running efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, health, and safety standards.
- Build strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and other business partners to enhance the company’s supply chain.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10-15 years of experience in general management or CEO roles, with a strong background in F&B, food manufacturing, or retail business.
- Proven experience in managing P&L and driving business growth.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.
- Strong understanding of the Makassar and South Sulawesi market.
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
