Corporate Finance & Business Analyst
Our client, a leading player in the Education Technology sector, is seeking a skilled and dynamic Corporate Finance & Business Operation Analyst. This role is pivotal in developing company financial models, conducting business and investment analysis, and providing strategic financial advice to the CEO and the board. The successful candidate will also play a critical role in fundraising activities and will be integral in ensuring the achievement of business KPIs and reporting to the management team.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models to support the company’s strategic planning and decision-making process.
  • Conduct in-depth business and investment analysis to evaluate opportunities and provide recommendations to the CEO and the board.
  • Advise the CEO and board on strategic financial decisions, including investments, mergers, acquisitions, and other business initiatives.
  • Participate in fundraising activities, including preparing financial projections, presentations, and engaging with potential investors.
  • Assist in analyzing finance and business operations to identify areas for improvement and efficiency.
  • Ensure the achievement of business KPIs through rigorous financial analysis and operational insights.
  • Prepare and present detailed financial reports to the management team, highlighting key findings and recommendations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (CFA, CPA, etc.) is a plus.
  • 4-5 years of experience in corporate finance, financial analysis, or related roles.
  • Strong competency in financial modeling, financial analysis, and business canvasing.
  • Proven experience in fundraising activities and engaging with investors.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools, such as Excel, financial modeling software, and ERP systems.
  • Interest in finance operation activities and a proactive approach to identifying and solving business challenges.
