Assistant Finance Director – Family Theme Park

Location: Bali, Indonesia

As the Assistant Finance Director, you will collaborate closely with the Finance Director and Management Team to drive the strategic financial decisions of our family theme park. Your role will involve spearheading the financial planning process, employing advanced financial modeling and simulation techniques during pivotal management meetings. A key responsibility will be to ensure seamless coordination between departments such as accounting, finance, and taxation to achieve our operational finance objectives. Additionally, you’ll play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial dimensions of strategic projects, including business expansions and corporate finance endeavors.

  • Strategic Financial Planning: Collaborate with the Finance Director to propose, implement, and evaluate financial strategies aligned with organizational goals. Assess and recommend growth opportunities or cost-saving initiatives to management. Report on strategy effectiveness and outcomes to management.
  • Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation and finalization of financial reports for both internal and external stakeholders. Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements by supervising Finance and Accounting heads.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the budgeting process and provide financial forecasts in collaboration with department heads. Deliver regular financial forecasts based on performance, market trends, and relevant data.
  • Risk Management: Identify and handle financial risks, ensuring compliance with regulations and promptly reporting irregularities. Develop strategies to mitigate potential issues, conducting due diligence as needed. Stay updated on regulatory changes affecting financial health.
  • Financial Analysis: Direct a team in conducting comprehensive financial analysis to support decision-making and identify areas for improvement. Analyze financial trends and present insights to Finance Director and senior management.
  • Team Leadership: Lead the operational finance team, offering guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities. Cultivate a collaborative and high-performance culture within the finance department.
  • Adhoc Responsibilities: Contribute to strategic projects as directed by management in coordination with the Finance Director.


  • Minimum 8 years of experience in finance, with a strong focus on financial modeling and risk management .
  • Proven ability to engage with top-level management and contribute strategic viewpoints to the decision-making process.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel.
  • Substantial experience in accounting, taxation, and internal control.
